ABOUT

thescape is a Helsinki-based rock band founded by Asko Sartanen and Tuomas Oksanen in 2009.

After getting full band together they started to play gigs around the capital area. In 2012 they participated in an international band competition Emergenza. thescape played in the finals at Nosturi Club in May 2012.

End of Spring 2013 the band recorded their first official release "thescape EP". The release was recorded by Jaakko Eskelinen. Also a music video was shot and released in September 2013.

thescape EP was released October 2013 worldwide on Spotify, iTunes and Amazon.

Year 2014 saw some line-up changes including a new lead singer and drummer. After playing a few gigs in 2015 the band is now recording their first EP with the new line-up. This EP "Stranger" was released in 14th Septemper 2016.
